Coaching Applications & Survey

Dear WMBA Families,

As we approach the end of our 2010 year, we look to you for input and participation.

September 15 is our last meeting before the AGM on October 20th.  We need the following from you:
  1. Please click on our Survey (Poll) on the home page and give us feedback on your season.  For Umpires, we have a survey for you and one for your parents too.
  2. Coaches.... We are accepting applications (Particularly REP and Select) so we can get these teams started with some fall tryouts.  The link is at the top of the home page on a tab called "Volunteer/Sponsor/Umpire".
  3. As our Annual General Meeting approaches, we appeal to you to get involved.  There are several members retiring this year after many years of service and we need some parents of young (and older) kids to get involved in order for this association to be viable in 2011.  Please consider a small role and get involved.
Have a wonderful off-season and hope you will return in 2011!

If you are interested in either, please go to www.waterdownminorbaseball.com and them go to the pull-down box at the top of http://www.waterdownminorbaseball.comthe page called "Volunteer/Sponsor/Umpire" and click on the appropriate tab.

We welcome all new and experienced coaches and umps to apply!

Hi everyone,

Our 3 surveys are now up and running.  Please go to our link http://www.waterdownminorbaseball.com/Survey/List.asp?snid=512570541&org=waterdownminorbaseball.com and fill out our Parent Survey.

If you had an umpire in your household, we encourage you to also participate in the Umpire Survey's.  One is designed for Parents and one for the umpire.

If the link does not work just go to our web page at www.waterdownminorbaseball.com and look on the left side of the page for the tab that says "Survey".

We appreciate your participation.

Please be reminded that all are welcome to attend our regular monthly meeting Wednesday August 18th at 7pm at Community Church in Flamborough Centre.

WMBA Meeting attendance

Dear WMBA families,

Our season was successfully concluded yesterday with 3 Championship games, a Hit, Run & Throw Skills Competition, Equipment/Key return, BBQ and our annual Coaches vs. Umpires Game.  Thanks to Jason Small, pastor from The Community Church for providing much needed volunteers for the day and the candy floss!  Special thanks to convenors Christine Ketchen, Shayla Pallotini, Paulette Aubry, Dave Doxey as well as Collette Somerville and Lynne Best and their families for running the concession and volunteering during the course of the day.  Thanks Dave S, Kyle S. Kevin B and Chris B.!

Now we want to hear from you!
  1. Soon, 3 Feedback surveys will be posted.  1 for general feedback, 1 regarding coaches and 1 regarding umpires.
  2. In addition, the WMBA Exec. formally invite you to send representation from each team to give us a little team/season report that will help us with the 2011 season.  Please bring something on paper so you can submit it to our secretary. 

We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each Month at Community Church at 7pm.  The church is located at 271 6th Concession in Flamborough Centre.  Parking and entrance are at the rear.

Please join us on Wednesday August 18th.

WMBA Monthly Meeting

The WMBA holds a meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Flamborough Community Church 271 6th Concession.  Leave Waterdown on Hamilton Street (Centre Road) turn left at the gas station on 6th Concession and the Church is almost immediately on the right.  The public is welcome. 

If you have an agenda item that you think would be best addressed with some advance notice, please forward the item to .
