For the upcoming season, we are starting off by hosting a pitching development clinic for registered houseleague members from the Mosquito division. Players are invited to attend a skills development session Sundays beginning March 8th at BatterZone in Hamilton. Each session will be 1 hour for a total of 4 weeks and total cost for the 4 sessions is $75. There will be 2 separate sessions offered each day and will take place on the following dates and times:

March 22 2 pm - 3 pm 3 pm - 4 pm
March 29 2 pm - 3 pm 3 pm - 4 pm
April 5 2 pm - 3 pm 3 pm - 4 pm

(note that there is a gap in the weeks to account for March Break)

In order to sign up, the participant must be registered for the upcoming season. To sign-up for any one of the 2 sessions, please choose the application form here. Payment can be made in-person before the first session with cash or cheque (made out to Waterdown Minor Baseball Association). Tryouts for 2020 Midget Select (born 2002-2004) baseball program have been scheduled and the following times have been allotted:

September 30th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Joe Sams Leisure Park, Diamond #1
Rained Out October 1st from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Joe Sams Leisure Park, Diamond #1
Postponed October 7th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Joe Sams Leisure Park, Diamond #1
October 17th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Joe Sams Leisure Park, Diamond #1
October 19th from 9:00am - 11:00am, Joe Sams Leisure Park, Diamond #1

If you feel you are interested in trying out for this coming season's team, please fill out the application form by selecting the Mosquito Select Tryout Application heading above. If there is a reason that you may need to cancel after registering, will be absent for one of the sessions or have any questions, please contactcoach Dave Langdon (dave.langdon@sympatico.ca). Please bring your glove, helmet, and proper baseball cleats to your tryout session.


Each year, through the generous assistance of the Rotary Club of Waterdown those in need of financial assistance to ensure their child can play baseball can make application through the WMBA for various forms of assistance.  Please complete the primarily "free form" application describing your needs.  The application will be held in confidence by select WMBA Executive members and reviewed with the Rotary Club.  We will then advise of available assistance.
