Annual General Meeting

Thank you to all who participated at our AGM on Nov. 19th, 2020. Though it was a bit unconventional this year being online, it was another great discussion with ideas that will definitely to help this association try to amend our programs around our current situation with Covid-19.

Once again we were almost able to fill every single position on the committee, compared to a handful of people who have been running the association for the past few years. We would like to announce that we have a new president this year, Chris Simpson, who has been handling our houseleague duties as convenor for the past few years, amongst many other duties along with coaching a Rep team the past couple of seasons. Congratulations, Chris!

Though we weren't able to offer a full program as in years past, we still would like to send a thank you once again to all the parents and players for your support over the past season. A special thank you to the committee members that worked to help run what little baseball we had amongst the restrictions.

Please note below the Committee members that were voted in for the 2021 season:

Registration is now open!

March Update: Our registration has been opened for just over a month and we are about half full, so those who are interested., please vist our registration page to sign up for the upcoming season. Please not that due to the current Baseball Ontario restrictions, we are only allowed to field a limited amount of teams with a cap on players for each team, so the earlier we have members sign up, the easier it will be for us to plan out our season. Of course awe will only be going forward with the proper acknowledgement from the city and we also understand if you have concerns about the viablity of a baseball season, which is why there is a grace period between signing up and making payment. Also note that if we come to the realization that it will not be possible to hold a houseleague season, a full refund will be given. We thank you for your suppport and hope that we have a chance to get your kids active outdoors playing ball. Feel free to reach out to us for any questions that you may have.

We are also still actively looking for umpires, and we would hate to limit any games due to the inablity to provide umpires, so if you have interest  to make a little money this summer or know someone  13 or older who has interest. Umpires are paid per game and umpire clinics will be held online, so feel free to send an email to our UIC Mike Kinnear (details below) for any inquiries to this respect.

Registration for mixed houseleague, girls softball and our rep program is now available on-line as we are very hopeful to tackle an upcoming baseball season. Though we encourage our members to register on-line, for those who have the inability or prefer not to use the internet to register, as we will not be offering in-person registration this year due to the  the mandate by Baseball Ontario to cancel all in-person activities. If you have the ability to register on-line but do not want to use our on-line payment system, you can still register without paying. This would be highly appreciated to save our volunteers valuable time and effort. Other than paying online, mailing in a cheque is our only other option this year and the registration form and mailing address is available under the registration tab on the website. Note that there will not be an early bird cutoff for registration this year due to the volatility of the programs for this upcoming season. Registration ends May 31. If you have any questions, including what tentative days each division plays, feel free to browse our FAQ section under our Member Info menu or email us through our Contact Us section. We understand that you may have many questions regarding what the upcoming season may look like and we will have more details as they come to light once we get a better picture of our registration numbers. Please note that we did run our Rep teams last year under Covid protocols and though we were limited in what we could accomplish, the season was very successful with regard to our expectations and we hope to continue the same this year for all our programs. We will be posting new information regarding the season in the upcoming days which will hopefully shed some light on the processes that will need to be followed.

Also of note, we are looking for coaches for every division in houseleague, so if you are interested in partaking, please send a note to our Houseleague Director, Adam Scott ( ). We are also in search for more umpires for the upcoming season. Please contact our Umpire-in-Chief, Mike Kinnear ( ) stating your interest or for more details.

Thanks for your patience as we work out our details and we hope to see your kids on the field soon!
