Congratulations to all those involved in the WMBA Spring Tournament. Players and coaches to spectators, officials and staff to volunteers; it was clearly a success despite the challenging weather.
A special congratulations to Bozek and Bozek (Black/White) Mosquito champions, Flamborough Review (Black/White) Rookieball champions, and Let's Landscape (Black/White) Grasshopper champions.
A special thanks to Sharon Hall, President; Greg Parker, Vice President; and Collette Somerville, Treasurer. Without their volunteer efforts the day simply would not have materialized.
I hope everyone is looking forward to the second half of the season and the championship weekend being held August 15th. We will need more volunteers for the wrap-up day weekend. Please contact
with your offer to help out. Anyone can contribute with an hour or two across many different activities to ensure the day runs smoothly for everyone's enjoyment.
Finally, I would like to take the opportunity highlight and congratulate Sharon Hall, who was honoured this past Wednesday June 17th at the annual Hamilton Sports Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
