Annual General Meeting

Thank you to all who participated at our AGM on Oct 22, 2019. It was another great discussion with ideas that will definitely help this association grow and improve over the next few years.

Once again we were almost able to fill every single position on the committee, compared to a handful of people who have been running the association for the past few years. We are always on the search for more volunteers for the upcoming season though, so feel free to get in touch if you want to contribute!

Thank you once again to all the parents and players for your support and enthusiasm over the past season. A special thank you to the committee members that worked to help run the association while wearing many hats.

The WMBA is run by volunteers and the league is always in need for new volunteeers to fill positions within the board along with throughout the league, especially those involved with houseleague activities. If you feel you have what it takes to add something to the league and community, please feel free to let us know. As noted above, we are in need of a treasurer for the upcoming season, so if you have any initiative on handling this position, please reach out to us. You can email Candice Rivat ( ) leading up to the AGM date for any volunteer questions you have or if you are unable to attend the AGM as scheduled.

As directed by Publice Health officials for the City of Hamilton, the meeting will be conducted online through a Zoom meeting. For details on joining us at the online AGM, please email Carey Clement ( ) to register for the event.
