The Team and Individual Photos have arrived!   Coaches are being informed today and in the coming days you will be able to see your coach for details or to help facilitate pick-up!  An email blast will be sent once most of the coaches have been contacted.



 
Jays Tickets for Rookieball through Midget Baseball

Hello Baseball Fans!

Due to generous sponsorship through the Blue Jays, The Rogers Group of Companies and Baseball Ontario, selected teams received a stitch on crest for your uniform this year.  "The Blue Jays believe in supporting Grassroots baseball as a means to pursue Big League Dreams"

As part of this program we registered for, each participant also recieves free tickets for a selected Blue Jays game at The Rogers Centre.
Our game is Toronto vs. Oakland on Thursday August 7th at 7:07pm

Sponsored divisions are as follows:  City TV ~ Rookieball, Toronto Blue Jays ~ Mosquito & Bantam, Rogers Digital Cable ~ Peewee, Rogers Wireless ~ Midget.
How to get your tickets????  Give the number of tickets you desire to your coach and he/she will respond on the teams behalf to this email by July 15th.
Tickets will be distributed the week of July 21st. 
NOTE:  These tickets are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

 
RAIN OUT PROCEDURE

RAIN OUT PROCEDURE:

Home team to;

1.  Contact Umpire-in-Chief, Mike Kinnear at 519-569-9596 to cancel umpires.  Umpires will attend the game if not cancelled and this results in additional fees to the league which can translate to increased player fees.

2.  Contact other team to cancel game.  If this is not done and the other team attends the game, it can result in forfeiture.

3.  Attend the park and pick up the bases.  There is no way for the diamond crews to be contacted in time to cancel them and they will line in almost ANY WEATHER in case there is a chance that the weather will clear for the game.  There is no need to contact the diamond liner coordinator.

Thanks for your cooperation in these matters and please try and play your games if there is any possibility of doing so to prevent re-scheduled games and increased costs.

WMBA Monthly Meeting

The WMBA holds a meeting the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Flamborough Community Church 271 6th Concession.  Leave Waterdown on Hamilton Street (Centre Road) turn left at the gas station on 6th Concession and the Church is almost immediately on the right.  The public is welcome.
