The WMBA offers a Select program for those who are successful during the tryout process in September. For 2024 we will be registering 3 teams to compete in the COBA Select Divisions. The WMBA will have 9U Select (2015/2016), 11U Select (2013/2014) and 13U Select (2011/2012). As a dedicated select program players on these teams do not play in any houseleague and play in a division similar to the rep counterparts. At Select the divisions are minor and major ages playing together.
The Select season is made up of 20 to 25 regular season games. After the regular season concludes teams will participate in league playdowns to determine the COBA representatives for their division at the OBA Provincials. The season concludes on Labour Day Weekend with the OBA Select Provincials. Throughout the season teams will also participate in tournaments, with the teams deciding on the number of tournaments they attend.
